We are shaping the minds of the next generation.
WELCOME TO
ENROLLING FOR 2024/25 SCHOOL YEAR!
TwiddleU is a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that provides education for neurotypical and neurodiverse children in the greater Atlanta area. Our mission is to provide education, speech, occupational therapy and play therapy at minimal or no cost to families in need. We are dedicated to involving parents in their child’s education while also providing learning resources and coworking spaces. The combination of in-person, hands- on and digital learning ensures families and their children receive the education, guidance and support needed for a successful future.
In this course you will learn about how to implement Relationship Development Intervention (RDI) at home. RDI is a parent-led approach that focuses on helping autistic children to develop social skills, think flexibly, understand different perspectives, and learn to engage and form close relationships with others. Unlike traditional therapy, RDI empowers parents and caregivers by making them the leaders of this therapy.
In this course you will learn the basics of how to get your at-home garden started, no matter how much space you may have. In addition, we will cover the easiest plants to grow and the best time of year to plant them, sun exposure, soil type, how much to water your garden, potting vs raised beds and when to harvest.
At TwiddleU’s Innovated Learning Academy, we understand that each child is unique and requires an individualized approach to learning. Our dedicated staff is passionate about creating personalized educational experiences that cater to the strengths and needs of students. We believe in celebrating diversity and fostering a sense of belonging for all our students.
Here are some key aspects of our program that we are excited to share with you:
Chef-curated Lunches and Snacks: Chef-curated meals ensure that all of our students receive high-quality, nutritious food, helping to alleviate the effects of food insecurity and its impact on academic performance and overall health.
Individualized Learning Plans: Each student will receive a tailored learning plan designed to meet their specific needs and goals. Our educators work closely with parents and specialists to ensure that every child’s academic and social-emotional development is supported.
Community and Social Skills Development: Social skills and community building are integral parts of our program. We provide opportunities for students to develop friendships, learn teamwork, and practice communication skills in a supportive environment.
Therapeutic Support: We offer a range of therapeutic services to support the overall well-being of our students. This includes speech and language therapy, occupational therapy, and counseling services, all integrated into the school day.
Small Class Sizes: Our small class sizes allow for more personalized attention and support. This ensures that each child can progress at their own pace and receive the encouragement they need to succeed.
